If your kids are anything like mine, they love pizza. (With all of the cheesy goodness, it’s hard to blame them!) And while the real thing is always delish, throwing a deconstructed pizza party is so darn easy AND fun for the kids. It has all of the classic ingredients, just served up in a way that involves no fuss for you. Win, win!

How to Throw an Easy Pizza Party
The great thing about kids is that they are often easy to please at the table as long as they see some of their favorite ingredients included in a meal. So the only thing you really need to make this fun meal or snack happen is the ingredients you’d usually find on top of a pizza and bread!
We’ve been using Brazi Bites lately as a fun (and seriously delicious) option for the bread. They are a Brazilian snack that comes in a range of yummy flavors. I love that they are naturally gluten-free (since I can’t do gluten) but that they are so good my kids love them regardless. And that all you need to do to make them is to bake them from frozen in the oven.
What are Brazi Bites?
Brazi Bites Brazilian Cheese Bread is based on the country’s favorite snack food, pao de queijo. They are sold frozen and puff up when baked in the oven. They are soft and cheesy, and yet light in texture—which is an awesome combination! We love the Cheddar & Parmesan and the 3-Cheese Pizza flavors. You can check their store locator here to see where you can find them in your area.
Ingredients Needed for an Easy Pizza Party
To throw an almost instant pizza party, you’ll need:
- Pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings such as sliced peppers, sliced tomatoes, pepperoni, olives, or other favorite toppings that are also good raw
- Bread option such as Brazi Bites
Use the toppings that your kids like on a pizza, but that are also great raw. (So bell peppers are great, mushrooms probably not so much.)
How to Throw a Pizza Party Step-by-Step
To make this fun kids meal happen, simply bake the Brazi Bites (or other bread) according to package directions. When ready, serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping and assorted toppings. Since the toppings are all served raw, all you need to do is put them into bowls. Then the kids can help themselves to each food that they want—and you can sit back and enjoy the party right along with them!
My kids love serving themselves from this sort of family-style meal. And I love how happy they are when they have the power to pick and choose which foods from the ones that I serve they want to eat. (Read more about this feeding philosophy known as the Division of Responsibility in Feeding for more on how and why this works so well with picky eaters.)
It’s a great way to entice selective eaters to be happier at the table since they have more control and power—yet you still get to decide what to put onto the table!
I’d love to hear if your kids like this idea so please comment below with feedback!
