Welcome to YTF Community, a place to safely share in the challenges and joys of feeding our families. And make all of it easier!
This week’s YTF Community post includes three reader FAQs that I hope helps both answer common questions we may have about feeding our kids—and provide some reassurance during this holiday season.
As a reminder, all members get a bonus weekly post—on topics like How to Feed Kids When You’re Drowning and A Week of Real Life Dinners—and a weekly meal plan that is editable. There is also an option to make custom meal plans to make it easier to plan meals, create grocery lists, and get through some of your mental load a little more quickly. And now for the first question.
“My son only seems to want snacks, which means that he will pick at his dinner and then demand all of the snacks before bed. I know he needs to eat, but this means bedtime takes twice as long. How can I shift his intake to a better time?” —Mary, mom of 3.
Okay, I’m tackling this question first because it is the story of my life right now too and it is sssoooooo hard to navigate. But here is what I’ve learned and am doing to make this issue a little less stressful in my house.
