September Meal Plan: Week 1

As we head into the start of a new month and what may be a return to busier schedules for families with school age kids, I hope this meal plan helps you simplify things a little.

I like to use these meal plans as a starting point for planning meals and grocery shopping.

  • I look at the recipes on the plan and remove any I don’t plan to make.
  • I change any serving sizes as needed for my family.
  • Then I make a grocery list and remove any ingredients I already have in the house.

That leaves me with a rough plan for the week and a list of things I need to get at the store for my recipes. If I need to add recipes or ingredients to my lists, I can easily do that too.

This week, I can’t wait to make Peaches and Cream Oatmeal, Skillet Lasagna, and Donut Muffins for an after school snack.

(And for those weeks when I want to build my own plan from scratch? I use the custom meal plan function too!)

  1. Hi Amy, the peaches and cream oatmeal directs me to an error page and I can’t find it by searching your website either.
