September Meal Plan: Week 2
I am fully not settled into our fall routine yet, but having some easy dinners on my lineup is one way I am helping myself through the busy days. And I hope this week’s meal plan helps you feed your family too!
I like to use these meal plans as a starting point for planning meals and grocery shopping. Here’s what I roughly do to make the most of these plans.
- I look at the recipes on the plan and remove any I don’t plan to make.
- I change any serving sizes to make sure I have the right amounts for my family.
- Then I make a grocery list and remove any ingredients I already have in the house.
That leaves me with a rough plan for the week and a list of things I need to get at the store for my recipes. If I need to add recipes or ingredients to my lists, I can easily do that too.
(And for those weeks when I want to build my own plan from scratch? I use the custom meal plan function too! There’s also more info in the FAQs about the basic functionality of the meal plans.)
This week, I can’t wait to make Chicken and Stars Soup, Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough, and Fish Stick Tacos. Plus, Peanut Butter Granola Bars for an easy after school snack.
